Parlay Betting System
The Parlay betting system, also known as the "Let It Ride betting system", is a positive progression betting system similar to the Paroli betting system. It should not be confused to with the parlay sports bet.
The Parlay betting system is one of the oldest forms of wagering and was originally derived from the same concepts that banks use to compound interest.
This system is based on pyramiding your profit. Pyramiding is a wager where your original bet plus your original winnings are used for your future bets. To use this system, you simply start by making a bet of any size. If you win with this initial bet, you use the original bet and profit (or some of it), to place your next bet with.
Parlay Betting System Examples
To help illustrate the Parlay betting system, let's imagine you are playing at a $5 - $100 limit casino blackjack table. You are feeling risky and you start with the maximum bet of $100. You are a dealt a blackjack and are paid 3:2 on your money which is a $150 net profit in addition to getting your $100 initial bet back.
The Parlay betting strategy is based on using the profit and your original bet, so you now have $250 to wager with ($100 initial bet plus $150 profits from first bet) on your future bets.
This betting system works well with other bet management systems and game strategies. In comparison to other betting systems, you aren't required to have a large bankroll to successfully use the Parlay betting strategy. The Parlay betting system involves much less risk than similar betting strategies. The Parlay system can be successfully used in the game of blackjack.
